TOILET PLUNGER FAQ
WHY IS PLUNGING A TOILET DIFFICULT?
Most modern toilets have a small port in the bottom of the bowl called a “siphon jet” which assists normal flushing. It is connected to other ports called “rim jets” which surround the inner lip of the toilet bowl. Traditional plungers do not compensate for the pressure loss through these jets so little force reaches the obstruction. The CLOG BOSS® bathroom toilet plunger focuses pressure in the trap with no losses, breaking up and moving the clog without splashing.
WHY DOES IT NOT SPLASH?
It makes a perfect seal (connection) with the toilet. Instead of fitting around the trap inlet like most plungers, CLOG BOSS® fits inside the trap, forming a direct connection. All pressure is directed at the clog and nowhere else. The water in the bowl is not disturbed so germs, bacteria and viruses are contained until they can be flushed.

HOW DO YOU USE THE CLOG BOSS® TOILET PLUNGER?
It’s very easy to use. Just push it into the drain, hold steady while resting it on the lip of the bowl, then move the handle back and forth a few times. Then slowly remove the plunger from the drain to allow the bowl to drain. Once clear, flush the toilet to make sure that it has returned to normal operation.
